Tazama African Tarot

The Tazama African Tarot is a wonderfully crafted collage art deck that embodies African ancestry through historical images. A 78 card tarot deck, booklet included, African interpretation of the classic Rider-Waite tarot cards, designed by Kenyan artist Safara Wanjagi. The cards are made of a soft touch high quality art paper with colorful backgrounds and gold foil details.

The characters who live within the landscapes of the cards are real African historical people from different places and times. This ancestral tarot has its own story so ask questions and request guidance.

 “Abusua Pa” is a black owned publisher, a collaboration between African diaspora. The phrase means “good family” or “family unity” in Fante, a language spoken in central, southern and western regions of Ghana.
